Strobe Photography & Long Exposures
Over the years I come back to the fascinating experiments of long exposure photography when there is seemingly nothing left to shoot. This collection is some of my favorites over the last six years, all taken with my trusty little Canon SL1, paired with an older Minolta on-camera flash.
The most recent strobes I have taken are freeform photographs, usually from a moving platform like a skateboard or just walking around with the shutter open. Somewhere in the ten to twenty seconds the shutter is taking in patterns of light, I will strobe an object of interest, repeating the process until by process of elimination I've found something closer to what the moment feels like.
